Choo is originally from the Republic of Singapore.
He completed graduate work at the University of
Louisville in 1994. Choo has served as Adjunct
Faculty/Resident Artist at Bellarmine University
in Louisville since 1990. For over a decade, his
fascination and work has been focused on miniature
teapots. Choo draws from his awareness of the
Yiching tradition; Yiching refers to a historic
Chinese pottery-producing district, where small,
finely crafted, unglazed, highly polished teapots
are still produced.
